Important - Recurring e-Mandate / Standing Instructions on your Debit / Credit Card |

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has put new safety and security measures to safeguard consumers w.e.f. 1st Oct'2021. It applies to all recurring domestic and international/cross border transactions via cards. |

Here are critical points for you to know: |

1 | Applicable on Recurring / Standing Instructions transactions from merchants who comply with the new RBI guidelines, | | |
|
a. | On a transaction of value up to Rs. 5000, the Bank will process it without the need of OTP for validation | | b. | On a transaction of value above Rs. 5000, it will require OTP validation via pre debit (before the payment) notification | | |

Please note: Effective 1st Oct '21, the Bank will have to decline all such recurring transactions on cards initiated by merchants non-compliant with the new RBI guidelines. Additionally, you can use our Net Banking portal to register your Electricity / Water / Gas / LPG / Landline telephone / Postpaid mobile / DTH / Broadband / Insurance billers for recurring payments via our BillPay / SmartPay service. |
